Band Bio

MoTHer SkUnK is a motley collection of Bronx Rockers both known and unknown. Drummer Danny Survillo decided to end his retirement from the music business by seeking out other musicians to jam with. Eventually running into his childhood friend bassist Vic Pena (formerly of Crashbox and Pinwheel ) who already was working with singer/songwriter Ralph "flip" Hernandez (Vibrasoul/Chronic) an ex-Arista recording artist. In turn Vic called an old friend John Schettino (Deadly Blessing/Circle Zero) to play lead guitar. After the guys jammed for a few weeks they searched for a rhythm guitar player, finding Steve Schuler (?) to fill the bill.

MoTHeR SkunK started playing as a cover band with their first show at the Westchester Sports Bar and Grill aka "The Haunt" in December just to break the ice. Playing at 1am and rocking the joint until closing.

As for the origin of the band name... you will have to ask John about that.
